Legal Education at Brownfields 2023

Compliance with laws and regulations of brownfield redevelopment is necessary to earn and maintain grants, obtain permits and licenses, and to make a healthy and sustainable new creation out of a polluted site. Because of the importance of legal matters in brownfields, the 2023 National Brownfields Training Conference is offering sessions geared toward the legal side of redevelopment. Each one of these sessions is specially designed to give conference attendees a clear look at the legal ramifications and strategies required to make your brownfield into a beautiful and useful place once again.

The National Brownfields Training Conference is a great place to earn CLE’s. Please note that applications for these sessions, totaling 9.5 total real hours, to be approved as CLE courses are being prepared for these states: CA, CO, IL, IN, MN, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, WA, WI. If you require CLE accreditation for a non-self-reporting state that is not listed, please contact Will Fricke (wfricke@icma.org).
